I'll eat the cost of the new external hard drive, because every girl needs backup protection.
I know that you technically answered my prayer to not require a re-install...but a $130 replacement? That "bytes!"

Come on over to the wonderful world of macs....
Don't feel alone, at least 4 other wedding blogs I currently stalk have gone through the same thing in the past month. I sympathize for you all from the comfort and safety of my little mac. If you need to rely on your computer on a regular basis, its worth looking in to. (And if by some freakiness you are a die hard windows person, you can stay on windows on the mac.)
