Dear Saint Isidore of Seville,

Patron Saint of Computers, Computer Users, Computer Programmers, and the Internet, I beg of you, please, please, please let my computer be healthy.

Please:

  • do not make my CD-ROM troubles require me to re-install my operating system.
  • make the Dell Tech Support Personnel help me identify and quickly repair my problems without charging me hefty fees.
  • ask St. Athony to remind me where I put my Illustrator CD.
  • let the re-installation of Illustrator make the Type and Paragraph dialog boxes display again.
  • do not let my new $130 external hard drive be a wasteful purchase five months before the wedding.
Also, since I am begging, if you happen to be friends with a Patron Saint of Creativity, will you please ask him/her to help me finish the invitations quickly upon the repair of my computer? Preferably before I throw my laptop in the lake?

Thank you a million times over in advance!

Your humble servant,

Tina
